QR Code Bookmarklet

In keeping with my latest fascination with both front-end development and javascript I have been looking at a lot of mobile app tutorials. Othen times the best way to view the examples giving is on your mobile phone. However it sucks going from the PC to the phone as far a URLs go. So I give you this PSA:

If you design a mobile app, write a mobile tutorial, or just want me to view your mobile site… Provide Me With A QR Code

However for those of you like me that are still going to view those sites not providing you with a QR Code, I give you my quick script for creating a QR code.

It works like this:

  1. Drag the following link into your bookmark bar: QR Code
  2. Click IT!
  3. A prompt will open with the web address of the page you are already on.
  4. Use that address or paste in a different one.
  5. A window with said QR Code will Open
